Thank you for choosing The Treatment Room Spa to assist you with your health and wellness goals. Please take the time to read over our policies:  

We require at least 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment. Clients who cancel an appointment with less than 24-hour notice will be billed 100% of the price of the scheduled service. Clients who do not show up for a scheduled appointment or notify us in 24-hour advance will be billed 100% of the service and require prepayment when rebooking. If paying with a gift certificate, the gift certificate will be redeemed as payment. During the holiday weekend of Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day there is a 48 hour notice of cancellation. We understand emergencies and illness can arise; therefore, last-minute cancellations will generally not result in any missed session chargers, however is determined by The Treatment Room Spa.   

All scheduled appointments will end at the scheduled ending time in order to maintain other scheduled appointments. Clients who arrive late to their scheduled appointment will be charged for the full session and may not receive an extension to their session. For your first appointment please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time to allow time to complete intake forms and settle in for your appointment. If you are receiving In Home Mobile services, please be present at the location given to allow therapist to set up for appointment. If someone is not present at given location for service time, the therapist will give a 10-minute grace period before cancelling the appointment.    

If it appears that you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, The Treatment Room Spa has the right to refuse service. If the session has started, we will terminate the session and you will be charged for the full service. If you take prescription medications, please consult with your physician prior to the appointment.   

As a necessary part of our services, it is important to understand and accept the risks associated with massage therapy services provided and make you aware of all liabilities. You understand:   

It is my responsibility to inform the therapist of any conditions, limitations, and any discomfort during my service. If I experience discomfort, I will ask the therapist to adjust to my level of comfort. I understand that by purchasing a massage session with The Treatment Room Spa, I am allowing them to work on my body for the purchased amount of time. I hold The Treatment Room Spa free from all liability for any injury, personal, economic loss or any damage to myself from the session. I hereby have disclosed all pre-existing conditions to my therapist. I further hereby release all liability arising from any such injury or damage resulting from my failure to disclose any pre-existing conditions, limitations, or specific sensitivities, or my failure to inform the therapist of any discomfort during the session. I understand the therapist has the right to terminate the session at any time if it is determined to be unsafe to proceed due to health-related concerns.   

Any conversation of body language that can be understood to be sexually explicit or implied towards the therapist, violent towards the therapist, or offensive towards the therapist is reason enough to have the massage session terminated and authorities will be called. Any session terminated for the above reasons, will be charged FULL price for services and banned from booking with The Treatment Room Spa.   

Draping is used in every session and compliant with the Georgia Board Massage Therapy Rules and Regulations. Male or female genitalia and women’s breast will not be exposed or massaged at any time. If during the session you feel uncomfortable, you have the right to end services.  

 All appointments made with The Treatment Room Spa require a card (debit or credit card) to be saved on file to schedule an appointment. The “card” on file must be valid and up to date in order to schedule. I hereby agree to give The Treatment Room Spa and SquareUp the right to store my card information for future transactions on my account. By scheduling an appointment with The Treatment Room Spa and placing a card on file, you agree to our terms and conditions regarding cancellations, no-shows, and payments. Any attempts to dispute or reverse a valid charge (known as a chargeback) that violates our clearly stated policies will be contested with supporting documentation, including signed agreements, communication records, and service logs. Clients who initiate unwarranted chargebacks may be subject to a ban from future bookings and will be reported to relevant platforms or authorities as necessary. If you have any concerns about a charge, we kindly ask that you contact us directly to resolve the matter. 

I further understand that massage therapy is not a substitute for a medical examination or treatment, and that I should see a physician or another qualified specialist for any mental or physical ailment of which I am aware. I understand that massage therapist do not diagnose illness or disease, and nothing said during the session should be construed as such. My consent is informed and voluntary and I understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time except for actions already taken.
